31 December 2007, Hong Kong - National
Geographic Channels International (NGCI) announces the launch
of Nat Geo Wild on Hong Kong Cable Television. Nat Geo Wild,
the award-winning 24-hour pure wildlife channel will commence
telecast on Hong Kong Cable Television Channel 33 on 1 January
2008. It is the only channel from NGCI that is available
in dual voice track options, catering to both English and
Cantonese speaking viewers in Hong Kong.

Channel Asia today announces that Nat Geo Wild is the official
broadcast partner for the National Geographic feature film
Arctic Tale. The movie will premiere in Singapore cinemas
on 13 September 2007. StarHub subscribers on 1 September
2007 and visitors to the Singapore Zoo on 8 September 2007
will be one of the firsts to watch the sneak previews in
Singapore.

Geographic Channels International (NGCI) and FOX International
Channels (FIC) have won a total of 32 awards, globally,
at the recently held PROMAX/BDA International Conference
2007 in New York. National Geographic Channels International
has bagged 19 awards and FOX International Channels, 13
awards. In Asia, National Geographic Channel and FOX International
Channels have won a total of nine awards in the Promax World
Gold and BDA World Gold categories.

animal show at Singapore Zoo. Called Splash Safari, the

announce the launch of National Geographic Wild in Singapore,
available on StarHub’s digital cable platform. The brand
new 24-hour English language television channel is dedicated
to showcase the award-winning National Geographic wildlife
and natural history programming. National Geographic Wild
will commence broadcast on StarHub Digital Cable Channel
77 from 2 October 2006.

Geographic Channel reptile expert Dr. Brady Barr was appointed
as honorary advisor of the University Sponsorship Programme
in Wildlife Conservation of Ocean Park Conservation Foundation
Hong Kong (OPCFHK) during an event hosted by National Geographic
Wild; the newly launched 24-hour English/Cantonese Wildlife
channel; at Ocean Park today. Dr. Barr will work with OPCFHK
to further the mission of motivating local students to contribute
to wildlife conservation work in the region.

10 August 2006, Hong Kong - National Geographic
Channel today announced the worldwide premiere of
its 24 hour wildlife channel in Hong Kong, National Geographic
Wild will be exclusively available on now TV on 21
August 2006. The channel will be a bilingual channel, offering
a choice of either English or Cantonese soundtrack, which
is a first for the National Geographic Channel.
